Adult Chinese Spring 2012 (成人中文课程 Scottsdale Airpark)

Adult Beginner's Chinese (1.5 hour each lesson, 16-Week Session)

Course Objectives:
(1) To establish a vocabulary sufficient for basic conversation in Mandarin.
(2) To develop reading and writing proficiency in Chinese Pinyin.
(3) To achieve a basic understanding of Chinese culture.
Course Requirements:

Adult Chinese Fall 2011, Level 101 continued (1.5 hour each lesson, 16- lessons)
Adult Rate: $350; Middle School/High/College Student Rate: $330
Textbook: Integrated Chinese the 3rd Edition (Self Purchase)

Class meets on Thursdays 6:00 -- 7:30 pm, beginning January 26, 2012.

Course Objectives:
(1) To knowledge and vocabulary for basic conversation in Mandarin.
(2) To be able to read and write a minimum amount of Chinese Characters (simplified).
(3) To gain understanding of Chinese culture.

Employment

We are looking for qualified Mandarin teachers.

We have immediate openings for part-time teaching positions for adult and children's Chinese classes in North Scottsdale (101 and Shea Blvd).

Applicants must be fluent in Mandarin and have work permit in the US. Native Chinese speakers preferred.

For children's classes, prior experience working with children is preferred.
