Children Programs (青少年课程)

We offer Chinese language (Mandarin) and culture classes and clubs to local schools. We have highly qualified Chinese teachers who can provide the best Chinese language and culture training in the Valley.

We use creative methods to inspire students' interest in Chinese language and culture. Our teaching begins with numbers, simple characters, easy dialogue, Chinese songs, and fairy tale stories. We then play games to help children to retain and better understand these lessons. We also integrate Chinese cultural experiences into our teachings; for instance, we provide Chinese dumplings to the students at the end of each quarter because having dumplings for the New Year is an important part of Chinese culture.

For all classes, a 5 child minimum enrollment is required. Tuition will not be refund after class starts.

Chinese Immersion Summer Camp 2010
Description:
1. For age groups 3-5 & 6-12.
2. Learning and activities: Chinese language, Chinese crafts, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Movies, Chinese Yo-yo, Tai-ji Fan Dance, Games, Chinese food.
3. Children can sign up for 1-9 weeks, with both full day and half day schedules available.
4. At the end of each 3-week session, children will have a performance for parents.

Session III (3 weeks): July 12 – July 30
Chinese Geography – Famous Places in China (The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terracotta Army, etc.)

Hours & Tuition
Full Day: 8:30am – 3:00 pm ($210 per week)
Half Day: 8:30am- 12:00 pm ($175 per week)

Extended Hours
Moring: 7:30- 8:30am $6 per hour, or $75 per session (3 weeks)
Afternoon: 3:00 – 5:30pm $6 per hour or $200 per session (3 weeks)
Siblings receive a 10% tuition discount!

Materials Fee: $15 per session (3 weeks)
Lunch & Snack: Students bring their own lunch, snack and drink Monday through Thursday.
Friday Lunch (optional): Food, snack and drink. $7/wk per student. Fee must be paid with tuition.

We are looking for qualified Mandarin teachers.

We have immediate openings for part-time teaching positions for adult and children's Chinese classes in North Scottsdale (101 and Shea Blvd).

Applicants must be fluent in Mandarin and have work permit in the US. Native Chinese speakers preferred.

For children's classes, prior experience working with children is preferred.
