Since this is Chinese learning web site, let me throw in some quick tips on how to enable Chinese on your PC if you haven't done so.

1. Go to your Control Panel and click on "Regional and Language Options"

2. Click the "Languages" tab and then click "Install files for East Asian languages". It will then prompt you about installing some files. Depending on your installation, it may ask you to insert your Windows XP disc. It will then ask you to reboot.

3. After rebooting, go back to Control Panel and click the "Regional Settings and Languages". Again, select the "Languages" tab. Then click the "Details" button. Then a second dialog box pops up.
Click "Add.." button. Then select the following "Chinese PRC" for the Input Language drop down box. "Select Chinese (Simplified) - QuanPin" in the Keyboard Layout/IME drop down box. Click ok a couple times to get out of the dialog boxes.

4. Now fire up your browser, you should be able to read Chinese. Can you read this now: 让我们一起学中文!If you still can't read Chinese characters, you may need to go to "View", "Encoding" to play with the encoding options.

Please note that these steps should help 90% of the users, if you still have problems reading some sites, then you may need to get some expert help.
